Is that ok to don't like books ?

Some people around me, they don't like to read books but they can be the head. It's not important in this country that you love to read books or not, I think. If you want to advance in your career you have to talkative and know how to approach your leader. I wondered why they are so proud to present themselves that they don't like books, maybe they didn't care because they are on the high level right now and can be intimidate others well.

PS. I'm not the one who are a bookworm but I'm not proud to present myself that I don't like books. Actually I like books, I collected many books, but I don't have much time to read
